DESIGN CONCEPT STATEMENT
The purpose of this design concept is to provide widened space for the students in order for them to explore in a bigger circulation of space to create the co-living and co-working space for consumers. On the other hand, students will be able to connect themselves to each other. The plus point of the design concept is to bring nature inside through large expensive window that allow a connection between nature and consumers.The aim for this interior space design in the living area is to create interaction between students and to maintain a strong connection with natural atmosphere. The interior space is organized with plants and sunroof ceiling to implement the sunlight into the interior space. Facilities are also playing a big role in every accommodation for the consumers who are not able to come daily from their home to educational institution. In addition, strong security services with high maintenance are also provided for the consumers safety and comfort purpose.The intent of the design concept of connection is to create the ability to communicate, support, enhance relationships and utilize a combination of origami design concept element application. Connection is known as a process to create caring and consistent emotional bonds among one and another. Moving on to the design development, it has connection between every edge of the design. The design development began with origami design concept element.Origami is the element that have been implement in this design concept. The reason for choosing Origami is to connect students and purple house together. Origami is about folding a paper from all the angels to make a connection in order to form an object. It has variety of ways to make detail design and it shows the connection of brief explanation. The intent is to implement Origami through the connection of space and style technique which is applied in the design concept.
